How easy is this for a healthy Ice (Nice) cream treat! For a lighter texture ice cream it will take a little time to make, about 20 minutes to half an hour.
No sugar filled ice cream here, just the pure delight of the taste and knowing your feeding your body well.

Makes 4 large Ice Creams
Protein Nice Cream
- 2 cups Chobani yoghurt (or natural Greek yoghurt)
- 2 scoops of flavoured protein powder of your choice
- Optional: You can add 1-2 tsp natural sweetener if you wish)
- Add berries or dark choc chips
Method:
Mix yoghurt and protein powder together with a whisk on and off for 20-30 minutes. The whisking will make the mixture lighter and fluffier in texture. It slightly becomes larger in volume. This is because the air that has been whisked through it.
Add sweetener and whisk through for a minute if adding.
Fold any extras you may be putting in such as berries or choc chips.
Spoon mixture into your ice cream moulds or divide amongst small bowls or ramekins.
You can top with dark shredded chocolate, coconut, nuts, whatever you like.
Place in freezer overnight to set.
To serve, if you prefer a softer ice cream allow to sit for a minute or 2 to soften.
Serve on own or in a bowl with added berries.
