Beetroot Smoothie

Deliciously sweet and refreshing beetroot smoothie!

A Perfect start to the day or even lunch in the Spring and Summer time.

Beetroot is low in fat, full of vitamins and minerals and packed with powerful antioxidants – a health-food titan.

Beetroot fibre has been shown to increase the level of antioxidant enzymes in the body, (specifically one called glutathione peroxidase), as well as increase the number of white blood cells, which are responsible for detecting and eliminating abnormal cells.

It also helps blood pressure and many other health issues.
So Beetroot for breakfast more often it is!

Serves 1


  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup whole baby beets
  • 2 tbl Greek yoghurt
  • 2 tbl rolled oats
  • 2 tsp honey
  • Optional, 1 tsp hemp seeds


Blend all ingredients together.

You can change up your flavour juice or berries.
