Cafe Mocha Protein Smoothie

This is my quick go to smoothie when I don’t have time for breakfast. I have this at least once a week but mainly because its my favourite smoothie!

Coffee kick, tick!

Protein, tick!

Tasty! Oh yeah BIG TICK!



  • 250 ml skim milk (or preferred)
  • 2 tbl light cottage cheese
  • 1 scoop protein powder (I use chocolate but you could add cocoa if using vanilla)
  • 1 tbl instant coffee, 2 if you like a big hit
  • 1 Can lite or no sugar whipped cream, 2 sec spray
    Extra coffee to sprinkle on top (or can use chocolate dust powder, cocoa, cocao nibs or cinnamon)
    *you can also add ice, especially in Summer time! And natural sweetener if you have a big sweet tooth!


Blend milk, cottage cheese, protein powder and coffee. You can add ice to blend or crush otherwise place ice blocks in before adding whipped cream.

Pour in glass and top with whipped cream. Sprinkle over preferred topping.
