Healthy Chocolate Crackles

Best healthy snack ever loaded with organic ingredients!

Feel like something sweet and naughty but really is healthy….

Chocolate crackle slice! Great for the whole family, parties and perfect for school lunch boxes!

Only takes 10 minutes!

Serves 16

About 110 calories per slice.



1/3 cup maple syrup (or rice malt syrup)
1/3 cup organic coconut oil (buy in jar)
3 tblsp cocao or sugar free cocoa
1/3 cup dried cranberries, chopped
2 tblsp slithered almonds (thin stick like, roughly chopped)
3 cups organic puffed rice


  • Line a 20 cm bake tray with baking paper
  • Melt syrup, coconut oil and cocao together
  • Stir in cranberries, almonds and puffed rice.
  • Press into tin and place in fridge for 3 hours or until firm. (Do not eat it all before refrigerating!)
  • Cut into 16 pieces.

A yummy easy snack, remember try and snack in between meals. It helps your metabolism work at its highest. Eat more, eat healthy, lose more weight. Not to mention healthy snacks are much better and don’t need to be boring! And the kids wont know these are healthy if they are wanting sweets!
