Wholemeal & Quinoa Flaked Loin Chops

Feed the family this delicious quick and easy loin chop meal! Cook them up with vegetables or salad, in a pan with extra virgin olive oil or on the barbecue. Coated in wholemeal breadcrumbs and quinoa flakes, it makes a healthier option than white breadcrumbs. Add some flavour’s and your done. Simple yet tasty!


  • 8 lamb loin chops (fat removed best you can on these little gems)
  • 1/2 cup wholemeal breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup quinoa flakes
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup tazikki dip (light)
  • 1 tblsp extra virgin olive oil



Mix together, breadcrumbs, quinoa and garlic powder in a bowl. Once mixed place crumb mixture on a plate.

On a seperate plate, place the tazikki dip.

Place chops one at a time in the tazikki dip, ensuring both sides are covered well.

Press both sides of chops into the crumb mix and cover well.

Heat a fry pan and add the oil. Once heated place chops in for about 30 seconds each side to set crumb mix.

Cook on low for 5-10 minutes (depending on your stove top and settings) until tender or until your liking.

Ensure to turn a few times to avoid crumbs burning.

Serve with oven baked potatoes, sweet potato, salad or vegetables.

Garnish with rosemary if you desire.
